We're pleased to announce the formation of the Beige Systems Institute (BSI), which will serve as a legal vehicle to further support our research, operations, and broader relationships.

Beige began with publishing: interdisciplinary podcasting that gave way to research and synthesis-driven analytical reporting on institutional systems and the emergent technologies supporting them. Over time, our investigations and reporting have converged on a set of recurring themes: compliance and standards, organizational governance, evidentiary data trails, and their relationship with technology. The establishment of the BSI embodies a continuation and formalization of research, inquiry, and other work within this domain.

In recent months, our evidence-driven reporting has begun to support the diligence, operations, and strategy formulation of companies and organizations. It has also attracted a modest readership of professionals around the world representing various domains of expertise within the private and public sectors and non-government organizations.

The near-term scope of the BSI will encompass three key areas of work. The first - briefs - continues our existing analytical reporting. The second - advisory - extends our research to supporting organizations with respect to their strategy and operations. Finally, the third - standards - includes both the analysis of standards as well as assisting in their formulation when applicable.

The BSI is also a medium for collaboration, becoming a point of contact among researchers, business developers, and other domain experts with aligned interests.

We're grateful for the engagement, readership, and support of our work to date.
